So, our esteemed Gov in Krazee KA, Gov Gruescum, decided that NO teachers could be laid off during the 20-21 school year. WTF is that ass clown SMOKING? In fact I have seen NO gov lay offs whatsoever. None. Zero. Nada. Yet every singe restaurant worker I know is either OUT of a job or had their hours cut by more than 50%. My mechanic has been closed since April, now in month #5 of NO INCOME. Tax revenue in CA has dropped by 30%. I would not be surprised at all to see our annual revenue drop from $203 billion now to half of that next year. Oh, and CalTURDS ROI was a WHOPPING 4.7%, just slightly shy of the 7.0% Discount Rate that NO ONE could pay before Covid-19. …But, wait, like a late nigh infomercial there’s MORE! CalTURDS ROI for the 5, 15, and 20 year average is a meager 5.5%, or far below the 7% dream the idiots have as a goal.. Wheels are coming off the apple cart… hang on kids…. CA reminds me of Maxwell!

    Off Topic ……….

Nothing quite like being President and anti-Democracy at the same time:

    https://www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-postal-service-usps-mail-in-voting_n_5f3537a9c5b64cc99fe32d58

President Donald Trump appeared to admit he is attempting to undermine the U.S. Postal Service by blocking funding for the agency, which is expected to deal with a rush of mail-in ballots during this election season.

    Specifically, he stated:

“President Donald Trump appeared to admit he is attempting to undermine the U.S. Postal Service by blocking funding for the agency, which is expected to deal with a rush of mail-in ballots during this election season.”

Correction ………. that quoted paragraph should have been:

““Now they need that money in order to make the post office work so it can take all of these millions and millions of ballots,” he said Thursday in an interview on Fox Business. “But if they don’t get those two items, that means you can’t have universal mail-in voting.””

      • Why the hell cant the Democrats try to appeal to the large groups of GOP who are close to the middle? Like me.
Nope. Instead they appeal to the far left of their base….driving many just left of center to shake their head in disgust as these cities burn.

That is not the right QUESTION/S.
The RIGHT question to ask is WHY can’t the Dim’s appeal to moderate Democrats, Republicans AND Independents? Because THAT s where the meat and potatoes are.

How did Ronnie Raygun win in 1980 (after failing to get the nomination two times prior)? And then in 1984 win in the biggest Presidential landslide in American history (49-1, Mondale won just one state, his home state of MN)? How did Henry Ross Perot in 1992 lead the NATION in the Presidential race before he dropped out, despite NOT being from one of the TWO dominant parties (Perot=45, Clinton=32, Bush= 18)? How did Trump win in 2016, despite his wild, krazee, and at times crude background?

I will tell you in 10 words, one short sentence: THEY CULTIVATED THE MIDDLE CLASS OF BOTH PARTIES-“MIDDLE CLASS”…with moderate, well thought out, non-fringe/wingnut policy. With MIDDLE CLASS being the two main/key words. The winner of this, and ANY future, Presidential election will be the candidate that is MODERATE and will speak for middle class America. That is the key to winning in a nutshell. That is how Ronnie Raygun won in 80 and 84; that is how Perot was cleaning house (and why eventual winner Clinton won) in 92; and that is how Trump won in 2016. Trump did it with a commitment to bringing back manufacturing, stop the exporting of well paid manufacturing jobs, stopping the non-stop flow of illegal immigration which has wiped out the majority of well paid, middle class jobs of American workers (construction, hospitality, restaurant), stopping the ridiculous trade imbalance that China has developed to the detriment of America’s middle class, stopping the ridiculous and fraudulent H-1B VISA scam. Trump has lived up to his promises to a large degree. If Covid-19 had not ht he would win hands down.

Postal voting is not a secret ballot and should not be permitted, including absentee ballots.

      From across the pond:

There is widespread abuse of postal votes, this simply cannot go on

Only a half-wit actually believes that universal vote by mail is not rife with opportunities for abuse, errors and scams. But yet the dems almost unanimously support it. Gee, I wonder why?

I saw AG Barr interviewed yesterday on TV and he really opened my eyes and informed me; because I had no idea how it worked, of how fraudulent this vote by mail scam is. Very different from “Absentee” balloting. I have vote by Absentee Ballot here in KA, and have for the last 20 years. I would prefer to vote in person, but it has been a hassle in my current county. NO ONE is against “Absentee” ballot voting, but the vote by mail scam is never going to fly. I do not think, in a million years it would ever survive a court challenge.

I have used absentee ballots exclusively for the last 20 years and they are not a problem, at least here in CA. I prefer to vote IN PERSON,ad get the I Voted oval sticker, but I moved in 1998 and could no longer vote in person because of the distance to my voting location.

NJEA has 200000 members, do you expect them to work for peanuts, like senators, representatives, presidents, mayors and governors?

      Hmmmmm…………..

A competitive salary, a VERY generous pension for those who work a full career (with a TRUE cost about 5 TIMES what Private Sector workers typically get from their employers), Platinum+ healthcare while Active, and FREE Retiree healthcare (that VERY VERY few in the Private Sector get any longer).

Those “peanuts” appear to be GOLD-PLATED.

They’re circus chimps, untrained chimps at that. So YES, they should work for “peanuts” 🙂

    • He should’ve refuted that immediately. He should focus on 1) economy moving forward and why he is better than Biden for that and 2) law and order and how he is much better suited than a dem to save our cities
Everything else should be a non starter. Good people with the confederate flag, Harris eligibility etc. shut the fuck up about that stuff and attack Biden’s weaknessess

TL, will you STOP posting your “off topic” bullshit from that left wing, lunatic, fringe CNN outlet? Give it a rest lil buddy. Take your TDS Med’s. Stop your delusional day dreaming. Sleepy Joe is done, so stick a fork in that brain dead zombie. BTW where has your BFF, fringe, antagonist, brain washed public employee twin been hiding out at lately? (I think I saw Dougie at a purple shirted SEIU convention over the weekend 🙂 )

BTW- If Sleepy Joe does WIN, we will have elected our first WOMAN President, and our second MINORITY President, because Sleepy Joe will not make it out of the first inning. I give Sleepy Joe 6-18 months before his competency deteriorates to the level of stepping aside.

Trump is ALREADY incompetent (proven many times). And he can’t even drink a glass of water or walk down a ramp w/o looking like he has major movement problems.

          • What’s your thoughts on the BLM contingent going to the suburbs of Seattle and demanding that white people give up their homes? Still think the AR was a bad move in the “bucolic” suburbs? Sooner or later they will come. That is where the money is. Also, sooner or later they will surround the home of the wrong guy. Then it will not end well.
MJ this is what the “Biden” admin wants to accomplish legally by ending single family home zoning.

I read your comment TWICE, just to make sure I understood it correctly.

I believe you need a break from the BLM stuff, as you are going WAY overboard. It’s not healthy.

        • I hear you. And you aren’t wrong. However, I can say the same thing about you not only about the pension stuff, but about Trump as well. You post incessantly about him. Most of this as you violence is new in nature, however, there is an election in under three months and the safety of our neighborhoods as well as a rapid decline as far as white privilege and all the other nonsense is not condemned by the left. In fact it is supported. Hence, while I think trump is highly faulted, Biden does nothing for me.

There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for the rioting, violence, anarchy and chaos that has been happening NON-STOP for the last 3 months in Portland, Seattle and Chicago. Those idiot fucking Mayors in those three cities should have been be RECALLED 2 months ago. Fucking degenerate losers. They’re allowing the social fabric of our country to be torn apart day by day.

      • Rex. Did you see the tragic case of the 5 yr old in Wilson NC? Surely you can’t begrudge any man or woman, the absolute right to defend themselves from that. As good the cops may be, they caught the guy right after and hopefully along w the DA present a case that puts him in jail for life or worse, there is literally no way to prevent that sort of thing except for locked 6ft or higher fence and of course carrying a gun yourself.
Since the dems seem so unwilling to do anything about gun violence and removing guns from criminals hands, than the only alternative Is to get one yourself if you wish to defend yourself.
