Fair Share Hosing

Normally when you google ‘Mount Laurel’ you get links to one of the worst of examples of misguided judicial activism from 1975 but today you first get this:

Is this what Judge Hall had in mind? Possibly not but there is one consequence of the Mount Laurel Doctrine that was foreseable. The leeches.

It happened in Morristown:

After a nonprofit sued seeking to halt all Morristown development, town officials have supplied an overdue report they say proves the town is meeting its affordable housing obligation.

In a civil lawsuit, the Fair Share Housing Center of Cherry Hill last month asked a Superior Court judge to bar pending and future Morristown projects until a progress report, due last July, is filed and demonstrates the town has satisfied commitments made in a 2017 settlement.

Based on a few 990 filings:

Based on a few 990 filings:

Fair Share Housing Center, Inc: $787,433 in total compensation including $186,001 to Executive Director Kevin Walsh
Homeless Solutions, Inc: $2,676,399 in total compensation including $143,198 to CEO Daniel McGuire
Fair Share Housing Development, Inc: $514,302 in total compensation including $93,213 to President/Ex Peter O’Connor
Fair Share Support Services, Inc: $308,216 in total compensation

100% identical to Kalifornia. Bazillions paid to the “Non-Profits”, where CEO and Executive Directors get compensation of @$200K-$500K/year, while nothing is fixed nor changed. Oh, except for bonehead “solutions” like building $750K/unit apartments on the beach as “Transitional Housing”. “Homeless non-profits are the only winners, and to get in on that action you MUST BE connected in (just like getting a GED Cop and Firewhiner jobs/)…Who the F comes up with this bullshit? Don’t answer, rhetorical question⏩⏩⏩Gov Leeches⏪⏪⏪ … 🤬🤬🤬

I am shocked no one has knocked Fatty out for the 10-count…. As much as a despicable POS loser Fatty is, what I saw was 100% protected free speech. It was “hate speech”, but that is fully protected speech nonetheless…. Could possibly lose their 1st Amendment protection under the very slim and very narrow “fighting words” exception to free speech, but I would be very careful about filing that charge because that is a very slippery slope to start down …

Kevin Walsh after helming the third party FSHC legal firm suing towns into having to meet some contrived affordable housing (AH) unit mandate, the towns are forced to bend over the the developers demands that for each AH units 4x, 5x, 6x luxury market rate units must to built to achieve the asmall amount of AH units. Walsh, so proud of what wonton destruction he did to the NJ towns’ quality of life and its neighborhoods, was rewarded last year with an appointment by Governor Murphy to the prestigious job as the state comptroller overseeing by audit the integrity of functions of towns and the state.
