After the Fox

David Samson pleading guilty and Chris Christie not getting the VP nod might top today’s news of skeevy politicians getting some comeuppance but, for me, this is the lead (and not only for what he did to me):

Jamie Fox, a former state cabinet official and longtime power player in New Jersey politics, has been charged in connection with the federal government’s long-running investigation into the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman announced the criminal complaint against Fox at a press conference Thursday about an hour after the Port Authority’s former chairman, David Samson, pleaded guilty to a bribery count for his role in securing a special United Airlines flight between Newark Liberty International Airport and Columbia, S.C., not far from his vacation home.

Fox, a former Port Authority official who later became a lobbyist for the airline, is charged with conspiracy to commit bribery for allegedly using his influence to help arrange the flight, which shaved hours off Samson’s commute.

If convicted, Fox faces up to five years in prison and a fine up to $250,000.

Fox has previously denied using his influence to secure the flight, which was canceled shortly after Samson stepped down from the Port Authority in March 2014.

Any taxpayer money expended on jailing this weasel is money well spent.

It is interesting that Sweeney is always present when the gov.’s unholy “cast of characters” roll into town for their ungodly meetings. The pictures posted of Sweeney’s face, always right in the middle of it, are priceless!
Perhaps we need another disgustingly, filthy, dirty, corrupt governor that can bench press a car. This is just what NJ needs to solve its fiscal woes! It’s a great fit!
Oh, he did get his GED, so he is a semi-scholar. I heard that they give them out like candy in the prison system to inmates for good behavior. No heavy lifting to earn one, no pun intended. No prediction either.
I have no faith in Fishman. cc’s cell phone was beyond a joke.
I know Justin Walder quite well, and have for more than 35 years. I hope that Samson paid his hefty legal fee out of his own pocket, and did not pull another Columbia, South Carolina stunt on the backs of the Jersey taxpayers. I am not joking John.
This crew would steal the gold filings right out of your teeth while you sleep.
As you said, you had your “brush” with one of them.
I will not rest until all of them are in prison. I am working on it. I have met with the feds. 4 times. They want me back, again!

John, what struck me in the project video is how swiftly you were cut off….these bozos are supposed to work for us the taxpayers and yet we (you) are barely able to speak at public meetings. Let’s hope this scum bag gets everything that’s coming to him. The corruption runs so deep that it has become impossible to get rid of any of them including Sweeney…….its disgusting and I applaud your tenacity in standing up to them. I can understand why people do not bother to attend these types of meetings.

Didn’t CC investigate and jail Jared Kushner’ s real estate mogul dad? He was never going to be the chosen one, family first.
