Most Dangerous People to Effective Government

Give a political operative truth serum (in the guise of an emergency meeting that only ‘insiders’ were supposed to know about called to accept the resignation of his embattled benefactor) and you get their truth:

“I just want to say that it has always been my observation over the years that probably the most dangerous people to effective government are known as commentators. Commentators are those people that sit back and take pot shots and cherry pick and do things to make governmental officials look bad. I didn’t really realize that until I got into government because I in fact was in the private sector before that but Charlotte, on behalf of all government officials that are not just commentators but rather doers, I thank you for being the type of government official we would all like to be, strive to be, and in our wildest dreams will probably never accomplish.  Thank you again Charlotte……L-A C-O-R-T-E”

I’m not not making this up.  That’s what he really said.  See:

.

.

Truly the deal Charlotte DeFilippo worked out for herself (no-show job, full pension, full health benefits, 35 vacation days translatable into salary, 15 sick days, 3 personal days, no-criticism-allowed contract clause) would be the envy of any ‘public servant’ but note Mr. LaCorte‘s attitude toward those who would begrudge having their tax money spent to subsidize this dream-job.

Nicer things have been said about Jews at bund rallies than what Mr. LaCorte voiced about citizens exercising free speech rights.  If this view is really prevalent among the public-servant-elite then how soon will it be before those make-work construction projects to repay political donors start being gas chambers?

Quoting …”I thank you for being the type of government official we would all like to be, strive to be … ”

Of course they would, after all, who wouldn’t want to have a $165K work-at-home job with 35 vacation days, and a contract provisions that precludes even admonishing her work w/o a prior court judgement of wrongdoing.

Anonymous, “Change” should (and likely would) be brought about by our elected representatives IF they had the guts and weren’t beholden to the Public Sector Unions for the Campaign contributions and election support they provide (as well as the threats of retaliation if they don’t do the Union’s bidding).

While it’s not my “job” to bring about change, I’m certainly doing my best to advocate for change by pointing out details and examples of the financial rape being perpetrated upon Taxpayers by the VERY greedy Unions & workers and our elected representatives who let it happen and seem impotent to effect change.

While Gov. Christie has accomplished far less than what is necessary (re Public Sector pensions & benefits), given the Democratic control of NJ’s Legislature and the stranglehold the Public Sector Unions have on all things “public”, it’s impressive that he accomplished as much as he has … and certainly more than any Democratic Governor would have. I was particularly impressed by how he stood up the the bullies leading the Teachers’ Union.

And actually it’s not “working out” so bad. We’re starving the pension Plan with the contribution “grade-in” (thereby currently saving the Taxpayers money). While some will say that we’ll pay more in the long run, I’m hoping the underfunding will become so great that there will be no option other than freezing these grossly excessive and unjust Plans.

In Order To End This Unholy Conspiracy Between The Totally Corrupt.
